Space Funeral (4/10)

Space Funeral is a game created by thecatamites created in RPG Maker 2003, releasing in 2010.
Despite this 7 year development cycle, the game appears to be unfinished. The Title screen's buttons have not been filled, instead are still using the placeholder 'Blood' button.

During Gameplay, there are several things to know:
1. The sprites are terrible, it looks weird to look at.
2. A lot of areas are optional, the entire first boss can be skipped!!
3. There's a lot of tricks. The Wizard can game over you despite how strong you are, and the genie is an asshole who ruins your game for selecting the "incorrect" option.

I also had some minor issues in which equipping the Poisonous helmet keeps you permanently poisoned, however if that bug was not bad enough, it causes your screen to flash for the remainder of the Game.
During the gameplay, if you give up one of the best items in the game to heal a stranger, they give you an attack move called "Coin Toss". This does nothing except make you lose money. Another trick!!
Despite this, it has a very unique charm to it and both the story it tells and his visual style and the game sense of humor makes it that much more enjoyable. The game is pretty short it only take you about 1 or 2 hours to complete is perfect to spend a short afternoon on, I'd highly recommend it if you're a fan of RPG maker horror games RPGs or just games with a creepy vibe in general.
I'll end this review off with a 4/10, it's clearly an unfinished game made by a beginner developper. We've all been there, I just hope they don't leave the game in such a state permanently. An update with better sprites, dialogue, content that feels worth exploring, and bug fixes to flashing lights and such, would bring this score way higher.

Fortnite (0.2/10)

First of all, I want to mention that this is an EGS exclusive, which is already limiting this review to a 70/100.
Fortnite is a not fun game as all you do in it is Log in, create an account, get bombarded by Advertisements to buy VirginBucks and Fighters Pass and then enter a game only to get either kicked out or jumping out of a blue school bus to your death.
If by luck, you are not instantly killed by the massive drop, you are then forced to kill everyone in order to be the last one standing.
This is horrible as the plot does not explain why we must murder each other, when we would have a much higher chance of Survival if we worked together.
Even with all that, I tried going to the Singleplayer mode, only to find out that it's locked behing a paywall! The Singleplayer. Is. Locked. Behind. A. Paywall.
This is absolutely unacceptable and I had to pirate it just to play it as I wouldn't spend my money just to unlock Singleplayer on a Triple A game that I already paid 80$ for!
When entering, I was instantly killed and was told that I required at least 1500 VergebenBricks to join! This is bullshit! I rate this game 0.2/10. Do not play. Do not buy.

Hexagon (8/10)

Hexagon is a Flash game created by the same author as VVVVVV. They used to host this game on their site, but with the death of Flash it dissapeared.
Nowadays the only way to play this is through Newgrounds, using Newgrounds' Ruffle program.
This sadly is limiting to some computers, and opens up the possibility of malware, as Flash was originally discontinued for a reason,
however I think that there is a special place for Flash games, and Newgrounds seems to have it under control with when and where the program should be utilized.
Anyways, Hexagon is a game where you spin around a hexagon and avoid getting crushed by a constant flow of lines, rotating in a circle to do so.
This is a good way to spend some of your time playing just a fun game with cool audio, without the need to download any external programs.
(Unless you count Newgrounds player, but that is not at the fault of the game itself, it's the fault of Flash dying)
Overall I'd rate this game a pretty well 8/10, it's a good time waster that you can quit at any time, no hostages involved. No overcomplications, etc.

Castle Crashers (0/10)

This game is so bad I ate my chicken nuggets with shame over this.
The game has weird monsters that deal damage to the player when the player hits it, making the game literally impossible to complete by itself.
The only way I was able to progress was by using console commands to give myself invincibility, which quickly turned the game boring
as I was unable to take any damage. 0/10, don't recommend to anyone.

Don't Starve (4/10)

This use to be such a great game.
I have been playing it from the start, I stopped when I realised they were not going to make the summer heat as an option because its just unplayable with it on.
I came back hoping this will be fixed but its not and you can only start on winter or summer, not any season you choose, to give you time to build resources.
This is such a let down. I loved the challenges and the build up knowing winter was going to be hard but all seasons being hard and dying from summer heat on the first day is just ridiculous.
Make any season an option to start on again and make summer heat optional, the world is adjustable anyway, so why make this not an option?? This is a 4/10 until this problem is fixed.

Jstris (5/10)

Jstris is a clone of Tetris, but is multiplayer.
This is the replacement to tetris friends, which used to run on Facebook (but also an independent site) which was a ton of fun back in the day.
This site is still fun too, however I find there's consistently a lot more better Tetris players than on Tetris Friends, making it impossible for someone in a public lobby to win a game.
Compared to the Nintendo Switch's Tetris 99, I would find this better control-wise as the Keyboard is better for Tetris (as Alexey intended) however I find Tetris 99 to be easier to defeat,
and has a lot better graphics and sound design. Getting further and further into the round makes it seem like you're one of the best players, you're in the TOP TEN JUST A LITTLE MORE.
Compare this to Jstris, there's no music and no speeding up. You get blocks from other players and eventually they are unremovable. You play until you lose, rounds generally last 2-3 minutes.
My last comment is that Jstris is not blocked on any School Internet that I have tested, so have fun while you can. I'd rate this a 5/10. I like Tetris, and this does offer a lot,
but if you're not trying to bypass a class filter, you're better off using the alternatives. Also, RIP Tetris Friends.

Super Mario Bros. 2 (2/10)

I wanted to like this game, I really did, but I just, can’t enjoy it, it’s the same few level themes repeated over and over, with horrendous difficulty balancing.

Friend Reviews

These reviews are from close friends whose word I trust, as I cannot play every game myself.

Binding of Isaac (3/10)

I bought Repentance not after owning and playing the other two DLC for several years, not knowing that while the base game, Afterbirth, and Afterbirth+ all work on Linux, Repentance does not.
I wish that had been more apparent or that I had been warned in some way that they stopped supporting Linux with the new game. Pretty disappointing :/
End result is a pretty lame 3/10, however it will greatly increase when support for Linux is added.

Enter the Gungeon (6/10)

As you know, I love pretentious games such as Nuclear Throne and Galga.
I saw someone on my Steam friend list playing, “Enter The Gungeon”, oh my, what is this? I thought to myself.
I just had to munch on this game, I ran downstairs to find my piggy bank, tucked away in my basement (Binding of Isaac reference, for those who don’t get it) and continued to tackle it.
It had braken, and to my surprise, no money was achieved. I gasped, but remembered that I could steal my neighbor’s credit card, as I was already using their wifi without them knowing.
After I did so, I input the info into Steam and swiftly added the game to my cart. I purchased and installed it. 3 days later it had finished, I achieved the play button.
As I spent 35 minutes changing my settings, I had entered the breach.
I was shocked to see the large cast of playable characters, I decided to play the convict because it reminded me of myself, after I was sentenced to 2 death sentences in Lehigh County Jail in 1985.
I appeared in the game, my first run lasted about 2 and a half minutes, I died of a burning sensation.
Really? I thought to myself. In one foul swoop, I grabbed my keyboard and angrily typed “Enter The Gungeon cheats” into Bing.
I found a little thing called Mod The Gungeon. I installed it instantly and found the console made the game quite good. Probably a 6/10.

Super Meat Boy (3/10)

The game had so many flawes and problems that people just ignore
So many boss patterns have shitty design
Edmund is a greedy fuck who overprizes everything
As fun as repentence was, it's unoriginal af to make half of it antibirth

Yume 2kki (9/12)

Pros:
Good game.
Good music.
Good price.
Cons:
Too many songs tho like we only hear like 8 or so most of the time. It isn't that bad though.
Overall review:
if you are thinking of buying this and you are unsure, just do it. It's only 3 dollars so if you don't like it, at least you didn't spend a lot of money.

Now that you know my opinion on some games, perhaps you would like to read in on our review on Visustella personally?
