One of the largest problems in the debate against the authoritarian China is how some people believe that you have to be on one side, China or America.
People who defend China don't defend them because they believe they are a good country, they do it because they are Anti-American, and believe the world is black and white.
The United States of America is a bad country, it's essentially a militarized megacorporation that does everything in the interest of it's investors.
HOWEVER, China is a capitalist dictatorship who covers up mass executions and genocide in order to make themselves
look better to everyone else, and they SHOULD be called out on this. Taiwan SHOULD be defended, REGARDLESS of your stance on America.
China has stooped to America's levels of Capitalism, if not worse.
China may have socialized programs, however money speaks louder than words in daily life.
The rich decide what happens, in companies like Tencent controlling everything that goes on.
People can't even talk to eachother without being spied on for the profits of those in positions of Power.
If you offered the power China has now to Nazi Germany or Stalin USSR, they would cream their pants in excitement, then execute you.
Genocide is the act of murdering a group of people with intent to wipe them out as a demographic.
China is doing this to some parts of their population who will not conform to "Chinese" society.
Murder however, is wrong, so China is wrong for doing this.
Really. I've tried searching up talking points of these tankies, even going through the largest cesspits of these idiots as possible.
There's really nothing more to them, they are willing to let China off the hook for everything they do, just because they are not America.
